You can donate online using any Visa or MasterCard. You can also request a cheque or cash pickup.
You can donate through cheques or bank drafts made out in favour of “The Citizens Foundation”. To have these cheques picked up from your doorstep, simply call 0800 00 823 or fill out this online donation form.
You can also send your cheque by courier to: The Citizens Foundation, Plot No. 20, Sector 14, Near Brookes Chowrangi, Korangi Industrial Area, Karachi, Pakistan.

Tax Exemption
Tax Exemption on Donations to The Citizens Foundation
Through Finance Act, 2012, individuals or group of people can avail a deduction up to 30% while companies can avail a deduction up to 20% on their taxable income for the year by donating to TCF. The Citizens Foundation has been added in a new sub-clause (ia) of clause (61) of Part I of Second Schedule of Income Tax Ordinance, 2001.
Shariah Compliance
Shariah Compliance for Zakat Donations
TCF’s Zakat collection process is certified to be Shariah compliant. Our Zakat collection and disbursement procedures and structures have been reviewed thoroughly by our Shariah Advisor, who has issued a certificate confirming that we are Shariah Compliant. You can view a copy of the Zakat compliance certificate.
All proceeds collected by TCF as Zakat are maintained in separate bank accounts at Islamic Banks in Pakistan. The funds are then utilised through the course of the year to educate deserving children. We have well defined SOPs governing our Zakat utilisation. These SOPs have clearly been delineated by our Shariah team.
Shariah Compliance for Sadqah and Khayrat
The Citizens Foundation collects and spends Donation (Sadqah, Khayrat) fund in accordance with the instructions of Shariah. It is also confirmed that whosoever will give Donation (Sadqah, Khayrat) to this Foundation; their Donation (Sadqah, Khayrat) will be paid as per Shariah point of view.
